Alexian Brothers Provincial Archives Mission Statement

The Alexian Brothers Provincial Archives affirms and reflects the unique historical identity of the Congregation of Alexian Brothers Immaculate Conception Province. It is the official repository for records created by and about the Immaculate Conception Province and its ministries.

Its purpose is:

• To collect, organize, preserve and make available documentary evidence of the major activities that have defined the Alexian Brothers' experience in the United States;
• To offer useful information service to its leadership, its members, and authorized researchers;
• To serve the broader mission of the Congregation by using its resources to support the distinctive ministry, community life, and corporate vitality of the Alexian Brothers.
